Find the package that installed a command

Find usb device
I often use it to find recently added ou removed device, or using find in /dev, or anything similar. Just run the command, plug the device, and wait to see him and only him

check open ports without netstat or lsof

List only directory names
This command would be useful when it is desirable to list only the directories. Other options Hidden directory $ ls -d .*/ Other path $ ls -d /path/to/top/directory/.*/ Long format: $ ls -ld */

Match a URL
For the record: I didn't build this. Just shared what I found that worked. Apologies to the original author! I decided I should fix the case where http://example.com is not matched for the next time I need this. So I read rfc1035 and formalized the host name regex. If anyone finds any more holes, please comment.

Install pip with Proxy
Installs pip packages defining a proxy

List the size of all sub folders and files from the current location, with sorting

Convert CSV to JSON
Replace 'csv_file.csv' with your filename.
