swap out "80" for your port of interest. Can use port number or named ports e.g. "http"

Remote execute command as sudoer via ssh
Example: remote install an application(wine). sshpass -p 'mypssword' ssh -t mysshloginname@192.168.1.22 "echo 'mypassword' | sudo -S apt-get install wine" Tested on Ubuntu.

List all symbolic links in current directory
Tested with GNU and BSD ls.

Friday is the 5th day of the week, monday is the 1st. Output may be affected by locale.

Find usb device in realtime
Using this command you can track a moment when usb device was attached.

back ssh from firewalled hosts
host B (you) redirects a modem port (62220) to his local ssh. host A is a remote machine (the ones that issues the ssh cmd). once connected port 5497 is in listening mode on host B. host B just do a ssh 127.0.0.1 -p 5497 -l user and reaches the remote host'ssh. This can be used also for vnc and so on.

Note: you'll want to set up pub-key ssh auth. Gives you a quick means of changing volume/tracks/etc for rhythmbox on a remote machine. E.g.: rc --next # Play next track rc --print-playing # Grab the name rc --volume-down rc --help

Echo the contents of a Url
Directly send the content of a url to standard out. This command is most convenient for sending the output of a download directly to another command.
