Play online music videos in terminal
pvl 'link1' 'link2' 'link3' Play Youtube, Vimeo, etc links without visual elements. Great for music videos when you just want the audio. You can control mplayer with this! Hit Ctrl-C twice to exit (if you're playing multiple files)

Runs previous command replacing foo by bar every time that foo appears
To replace foo by bar, but not execute, do ^foo^bar^:p To replace all foo by bar, but not execute, do ^foo^bar^:&:p

Scrollable Colorized Long Listing - Hidden Files Sorted Last
To sort hidden files first, simply switch the two inner `ls` commands. I have this aliased to `dira` `dir` is aliased to the simpler version with no hidden files: $ ls -l --color=always | less -R

Which processes are listening on a specific port (e.g. port 80)
swap out "80" for your port of interest. Can use port number or named ports e.g. "http"

Add a shadow to picture
Please take notice that if you are going to use an JPG file for shadow effect, let change -background none to -background white! Because -background none make a transparent effect while JPG doesn't support transparent! And when viewing, you will get a bacl box! So we will use an white background under! We can use other color as well!

Append a pub key from pem file and save in remote server accessing with another key
Useful if you need to add another key and you using pem files (typical in AWS EC2 Instances). If you use it in EC2 instances, remember that password authentication is disabled, so you have to use the first key generated when you generated the instance

Brute force way to block all LSO cookies on a Linux system with the non-free Flash browser plugin. Works just fine for my needs. Enjoy.
