What's this?

commandlinefu.com is the place to record those command-line gems that you return to again and again. That way others can gain from your CLI wisdom and you from theirs too. All commands can be commented on, discussed and voted up or down.

create and md5 sum of your password
create and md5 sum of your password without it showing up in your terminal or history. Afterwards we overwrite the $p variable (thx to bazzargh)

list block devices
Shows all block devices in a tree with descruptions of what they are.

Convert CSV to JSON
Replace 'csv_file.csv' with your filename.

find broken symbolic links

Print diagram of user/groups
Parses /etc/group to "dot" format and pases it to "display" (imagemagick) to show a usefull diagram of users and groups (don't show empty groups).

Use -t when using find and cp
-t, --target-directory=DIRECTORY (copy all SOURCE arguments into DIRECTORY).

Update twitter with Perl
Requires Net::Twitter. Just replace the double quoted strings with the appropriate info.
