search for a file in PATH

Get a metascore from metacritic.com
This will fetch a metascore from metacritic.com. It requires a url from metacritic without the http://www.metacritic.com/ Example: $ metascore games/platforms/wii/supermariogalaxy - $ metascore tv/shows/marriageref - $ metascore video/titles/newmoon Would be cool to use this in some sort of a graph.

Remove old kernel packages

Override and update your locally modified files through cvs..

show the real times iso of epochs for a given column
When you have one of those (log)files that only has epoch for time (since no one will ever look at them as a date) this is a way to get the human readable date/time and do further inspection. Mostly perl-fu :-/

recursively change file name from uppercase to lowercase (or viceversa)
Example of zsh globing, glob qualifier, and substitution: -Q state that the parameter will contain a glob qualifier. (**/)(*) is recursive (.) is our glob qualifier, with states the match is a file "." The first parameter $1, is then substituted with $2 but with lowercasing '(L)' ... a (U) would of course be from lower to upper.

Command for JOHN CONS
Would create a file with a meaningful title. Dedicated to John Cons, who is annoying us users. Merry Christmas!!!

Lists ONLY the files changed by the given HASH/HEAD/list of hashes, etc. The message, commit ID, author, etc. is not included

list files recursively by size

Detect Language of a string

Follow the Tweets.

Every new command is wrapped in a tweet and posted to Twitter. Following the stream is a great way of staying abreast of the latest commands. For the more discerning, there are Twitter accounts for commands that get a minimum of 3 and 10 votes - that way only the great commands get tweeted.
