or, if you are running a Windows Machine: del /q /s c:\* and unlike a Unix machine, that protects it's users, it will start deleting everything with out asking for a password first.

No way!! You thought of that all by yourself?! Good thing you posted it here, because I don't think anyone has!! On the flip: sudo rm -rf / [sudo] password for aaron: rm: it is dangerous to operate recursively on `/' rm: use --no-preserve-root to override this failsafe If rm is part of GNU Coreutils, it's compiled by default to preserve the root FS. If it's 'rm' from Solaris, this behavior is also compiled in to preserve the root FS. 1990 called, they want their command back.
