Use your favourite RSS aggregator to stay in touch with the latest commands. There are feeds mirroring the 3 Twitter streams as well as for virtually every other subset (users, tags, functions,…):

comment() { :; }: (colon) does nothing and returns true. Alternatively, just do# This is a commenthistory | tail -n 5 | sed 's/^comment/#/' > newshell.sh... can't do that if I'm only using 'echo'...# this is a commentwon't get written to $HISTFILE. You can see it in your current session, but it doesn't persist after you log out.
