Get the date for the last Saturday of a given month

This is a little trickier than finding the last Sunday, because you know the last Sunday is in the first position of the last line. The trick is to use the NF less than or equal to 7 so it picks up all the lines then grep out any empty lines.

Remove a range of lines from a file

Deletes lines to of a file. You must put the end line first in the range for the curly brace expansion, otherwise it will not work properly.

Quickly create an alias for changing into the current directory

Put the function in your .bashrc and use "map [alias]" to create the alias you want. Just be careful to not override an existing alias.
