Run a command only when load average is below a certain threshold

echo "rm -rf /unwanted-but-large/folder" | batch
Good for one off jobs that you want to run at a quiet time. The default threshold is a load average of 0.8 but this can be set using atrun.

Ding! There's a useless echo command. batch rm -rf /unwanted-but-large/folder will do the same thing.

Only the echo version works for me. Running the command after batch returns batch accepts no parameters Maybe a shell thing?

reading the man page for batch reveals: "at and batch read commands from standard input or a specified file which are to be executed at a later time" so, echo command is not useless at all. In the standard Unix/Linux environment batch is not taking command to execute from its command line
