Resize a Terminal Window

run php code inline from the command line
Most people know that you can run a PHP script from the command line like so: $php ./my_script.php But sometimes I just want to run a quick bit of code, the PHP Command Line Interface allows me to do so with the -r option. Requires package php5-cli

Create a backdoor on a machine to allow remote connection to bash
This will launch a listener on the machine that will wait for a connection on port 1234. When you connect from a remote machine with something like : nc 192.168.0.1 1234 You will have console access to the machine through bash.

Tired of switching between proxy and no proxy? here's the solution.
Replace 10.0.0.0/8 with your largest local subnet. replace 10.1.1.123:3128 with your proxy information.. Note this only works with a proxy server configured for passive setup.. Now your firefox transparently proxy's stuff destined outside your network.. and Doesn't proxy stuff inside your network. as well as all your other favorite web applications. curl, wget, aria2 ect.
