Reset hosed terminal,
stty sane resets the tty to basic usable function. The ^J is a newline -- sometimes CR/LF interpretation is broken so use the ^J explicitly.

Puts every word from a file into a new line
Simply translates whitespace to newlines. Could be enhanced to compress out extra newlines, but that might be better handled in the next tool down the pipe, with eg uniq(1).

Assuming that 219,229 and 221 are entries in history, I recall them in a single line for execute multiple commands 219 ifdown wlan0 ... 221 ifup wlan0 ... 229 iwconfig wlan0 mode Managed so the result is execution of # ifdown wlan0 ; iwconfig wlan0 mode Managed ; ifup wlan0

Search and play youtube videos directly to terminal (no X needed)
Same as other command, however uses youtube-dl internal search (thanks to qoxxxx mentioning this) It does however seem to be a little buggy and youtube-dl crashes sometimes. ## pyt 'Stairway to heaven - Led Zeppelin' pyt 'brain damage - Pink Floyd' No web browser or even X needed. Just a cli and internet connection! mplayer is pauseable and can skip ahead This may break if youtube changes their search html.
