use the previous commands params in the current command
Here the !!:1 will take the first parameter from the previous command. This can be used in conjunction with other history commands like ! and so on.

put current directory in LAN quickly
This works on all versions of python 2.X. Tested on Linux and bundled python versions on Mac OSX and Solaris / UNIX Note: Serves globally on port 8000. Ctrl+c to stop. Don't start the server and leave it on a internet connected machine. :)

get all Amazon cloud (amazonws etc) ipv4 subnets

Paged, colored svn diff
I put this in a shell script called "svndiff", as it provides a handy decorated "svn diff" output that is colored (which you can't see here) and paged. The -r is required so less doesn't mangle the color codes.

Upload a video to youtube
Google just released a new commend line tool offering all sorts of new services from the commend line. One of them is uploading a youtube video but there are plenty more google services to interact with.
