This recursively downloads all images from a given website to your /tmp directory. The -nH and -nd switches disable downloading of the directory structure.

Print unique ipaddresses as they come in from Apache Access Log File
Prints the unique IP Addresses as they arrive from an Apache `access.log` file. The '-W interactive' tells awk to start writing to stdout immediately and not buffer the output. This command builds on the uniq lines without sorting command (http://www.commandlinefu.com/commands/view/4389/remove-duplicate-entries-in-a-file-without-sorting.)

send file to remote machine and unzip using ssh
This version transfers gzipped data which is unzipped as it arrives at the remote host.

Watch the progress of 'dd'
run this in another terminal, were xxxx is the process ID of the running dd process. the progress will report on the original terminal that you ran dd on

Connect via sftp to a specific port
I use this for connect via sftp to a server listening on a non default ssh port.
