netstat doesn't always function similarly across the board. Also the use of three commands in the original (netstat followed by grep followed by grep) is a waste of pipes

You might want to secure your AWS operations requiring to use a MFA token. But then to use API or tools, you need to pass credentials generated with a MFA token.
