Remove multiple entries of the same command in .bash_history with preserving the chronological order

Only the first appearance of a repeated command in the history will be kept. Otherwise, if you prefer to keep last occurrence of a repeated command then maybe you can achieve that by including reverse input/output i.e with 'tac' command in expression above. Create a encrypted tar.gz file from a directory on the fly. The encryption is done by GPG with a public key. The resulting filename is tagged with the date of creation. Very usefull for encrypted snapshots of folders.

swap out "80" for your port of interest. Can use port number or named ports e.g. "http"

List all commands present on system by folder. $PATH contains all command folder separated by ':'. With ${PATH//:/ }, we change ':' in space and create a list of folder for ls command.

Pipe any JSON to jq, then count with the appropiate expression and use the | length on the array

easily find megabyte eating files or directories

sorts the files by integer megabytes, which should be enough to (interactively) find the space wasters. Now you can $ dush for the above output, $ dush -n 3 for only the 3 biggest files and so on. It's always a good idea to have this line in your .profile or .bashrc
